Job Title : Software Development Engineer in Test

Education : a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Information Systems or a closely related field
Specific Job Responsibilities :
- Maintaining computer applications and providing services to meet client IT & business needs
- Translating business needs into functional specifications by documenting clear & concise User Stories, Workflow Diagrams and Acceptance Test Plans
- Working on multiple inter-dependent projects and performing Information Ordering, Inductive Reasoning and Clear Documentation
- Attending Daily Scrum meetings and bi-weekly Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings for various projects
- Executing Test Plans and Test Cases using Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Designing Performance Tests (Load, Stress, Spike, Volume, etc.) for applications using NeoLoad tool
- Developing Selenium automation scripts using Java as the programming language and integrating with NeoLoad to generate User Paths for Performance Testing
- Conducting API Testing using Swagger UI to verify the response of the Microservices before they get wired up with the UI
- Extracting data from the database by writing SQL queries to automate API requests and monitor its response and/or HTTP status code using NeoLoad
- Performing Root Cause Analysis by conducting various levels of testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing) to rectify the defect at its root
- Developing end-to-end testing automation scripts for Angular Apps using Protractor framework with TypeScript as the programming language and Visual Studio Code IDE
- Implementing different frameworks like data-driven, keyword-driven, behavior-driven and hybrid framework while developing end-to-end tests
- Writing complex SQL statements to query the database for Data Validation
