Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : Princeton, NJ. Travel to client sites may be required on a need to basis on a project basis. Local and national travel only on a need-to-basis. No international travel is required.
Requirements : MS Engineering Management or equivalent. Coursework or related experience in Product Development, Product Management, Finance, Economics Business Analysis, Business Management, Data Analysis. Requires certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management, and Scrum Master.
Duties : Analyze complex business problems and opportunities to drive optimal, cost-effective business solutions to improve business processes, workflows, and systems.Collaborate with project sponsors/stakeholders to determine project scope and vision.Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of business stakeholders, including both internal project sponsors and end users.Collaborate with development teams and architects to design solutions that address business needs.Responsible for leading enterprise level projects by analyzing business needs, performing fit-gap analysis, requirement analysis, development, and maintenance of all project artifacts, managing project scope, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project deliverables.Act as a primary liaison between IT, Business stakeholders, 3rd party vendors and other cross-functional teams.Conduct end customer/user interviews, requirement analysis work sessions, lead Sprint Planning sessions, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, test inspections and other project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.Create vision and scope documentation, use cases, process flows, wireframes, business requirements, functional/technical specifications, and corresponding work products for complex projects to ensure stakeholders’ understanding.Document detailed product specifications as epics and user stories that allow for efficient development and prioritization in Agile methodology.Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Request for Proposal (RFP) development and management to ensure that technology procurements are effective and complete.Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis; develop risk responses and management strategy.Provided key insights to senior management derived from reports.Responsible for conducting dry runs, A/B testing and User acceptance testing (UAT) for multiple projects.
